Thanks Barb, they are in and I'll take some shots in a few. Ive had them sitting without the daylights on for about an hour. The big mushroom is a Ric I think..... the zoas are cute,I thought they were shrooms their skirts look like little blue hairy mushrooms till they open with cute orange/red skirts. unless its a mixed plug.

and the one with the nasty water was shrooms. I think they are blue right now they are noodly and looking for somewhere to take foot. Im not sure if the rock came apart in shipping or if it was intentionally broke but there are 3.

Hi Kim.

Apparently those mushrooms did not like being together in that shipping container. Barb was right on the money about getting them out of the nasty water.

I am trying to figure out what happened. Was the cool pack sitting directly on top of the container with the shrooms in it? My wife packed them while I was at work and I am wondering if that one container got a little too cold. They will recover with no problem, although it may take them a couple of days or so.

There should have been at least 3 separate rocks with the shrooms on them. The large one is a Yuma Ricordia, the other is a mixed zoanthid/palythoa frag. Once the green skirt ones open all the way you may not even see the red ones anymore. I figured it is something you could frag pretty quickly if you wanted to.

The shipping box is from Reef Empire, the EBay auctions I won, and is a very cool little package. That bag is supposed to be more environmentally friendly than styrofoam as well.

I acclimated them slowly and they are hanging out. That Yuma looks like its gonna be a beauty!!

The zoas/paly's are awesome they have opened alot since being here.

there were 3 shrooms in the container. I poured about 3/4 of it out and put in 1/2 of mine and started to pull nasty water out and put mine in little by little till it was clear, turned the bright lights off and let him sit before putting in tank. Ice pack was on the side/bottom and I thnk yes it was up against the bottom container which was the shrooms.

The packaging was awesome!! helped make shipping reasonable.

I'll be back in a bit... time for dinner.
and 3 little stars. well 2 1/4 LOL one got broke up pretty good. LOL cute tiny buggers. I almost thought they were bugs. LOL

I had a funny feeling it might have something to do with the cold pack shifting during shipping. I will tell her that she needs to figure out a way to tape it near the box next time. The shrooms probably got a little bit of hypothermia, but they should recover easily enough. One of the small rocks may have 2 shrooms on it, but I can't remember as that is when I cut my finger.

I am glad you like everything. Feel free to use the same containers and box when shipping back to me if you like.

I wonder which it would have been though temp or more than 1 in a container?? I can see how it just got too cold. Maybe use a thick layer of newspaper between cold pack and bowls. She did have it wrapped in a paper towel but it was soaked.
How did you receive from the company the box is from? in plastic bags? and cold pack?

I am not knocking anything about this shipment!! Time will heal all things!
