The finger is doing much better, doesn't look like any type of infection setting in so I think I am good. Thanks for asking.

I have a feeling it was the temp, as the cold pack was stored in the freezer. So if it came to rest along the side of that container the shrooms could have gotten pretty cold. Usually the cold pack gets wrapped in a paper towel and taped to the lid of the styrofoam cooler to keep that from happening.

I love those little ziploc containers. There is virtually no chance of them getting crushed, or leaking, and the corals are basically in their own little suitcase with more than enough water for the trip.

The box was originally sent with the corals in individual plastic bags, and those bags were in a larger bag, and the cool pack was in there somewhere as well. My wife received the package while I was at work, so I did not see it before the corals were already in the tank.

Well its all wonderful to me.

That package came on the perfect day! It made me smile and boy did I need to stop what was going on around here, Like forced time out!! The best kind of time out!! I had to take the time to get them acclimated.

they will be fine!! Cant wait to see them all comfy!!

I took water to LFS to have them check the perams (double check myself) and of course he didnt have the test kit at the store, but he had his refractometer. He said my salt was at 1.033 No wonder shit isnt opening and being stupid. However...I do have a floating hydrometer a glass one. and it only ready 1.026. So is it poss mine is off and can it be callibrated? or is his a peice of shit like he can be? He wouldnt sell me any water though so He kinda did me a favor! LOL

stupid auto focus.... It wants me to think its in focus. stupid trifocals, I mean transitional lenses.

It is very possible that your hydrometer is off, when is the last time you cleaned it? Of course it is also possible that his refractometer needs to be calibrated as well. I think you may have all the evidence you need in the way the corals are acting right now though.

M.. By cleaning I do keep it cleaned off, I need to take the scrubby to it though at the water line. Is that the only way to calibrate, and which is more efficient? my glass one, or his meter?
I know if 1 or the other is off that neither is effective but...
Preferences people.....................

I saw in the other thread where you got the hydrometer sorted out.

How are the corals looking today? Have the mushrooms retracted their mouths yet?

No Change on the blues. I did alot in the tank over the weekend though so we'll see if there is any change in a day or so.
The yuma had to be re-tulled again today. I put him on a bigger rock, since he let go of the 2 little ones he had hold of.

My other yuma that was on the shell and let go, left a piece of his foot in the hole I think so there may be a new one growing there.
